The UW Green Bay Phoenix has signed a player who will be coming home after leading his area high school team to a state championship two years ago. 6-0 guard Chevalier “Ice” Emery Jr. has entered the GB program through the transfer portal. Emery helped lead the Neenah Rockets to the WIAA Division 1 State title in 2022. He spent his freshman year at Merrimack College where he saw little playing time. His first trip into the transfer portal landed him at Dodge City Community College in Kansas where his game flourished as a sophomore, averaging better than 19 points a game. Now he’s returning to his home state to try and pick up some of the scoring punch lost when GB’s leading scorer Noah Reynolds transfered to TCU after the season.
