KESHENA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment Tuesday charging a Keshena man with kidnapping, assault and strangulation.
Court documents allege John Miller, 42, strangled a woman with whom he had a prior intimate relationship “to the point of unconsciousness” and went on to assault her “in an attempt to kill her.”
He then “seized and confined her” inside the trunk of a vehicle in order to conceal his actions.
Miller faces a maximum of 50 years in prison and up to $750,000 in fines, if convicted on all counts.
