APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Appleton over the weekend.
The winning ticket was purchased Saturday at True North Energy on 120 S. McCarthy Road for the April 19 drawing. It matched four of five numbers (7-25-37-39-63), plus the Powerball (1).
“What a great day. This is fantastic. It wasn’t that long ago we sold a winning $100,000 scratch ticket. I hope this win is a local winner,” said True North Energy Manager Melody Stoltz in a news release.
So far in 2025, there have been seven winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 or more sold in Wisconsin — including two drawn this month.

Lottery officials say the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338. The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130.
